To ensure that its marketing/communications strategy and customer value propositions keep pace with its rapidly advancing technology, mobile device solutions specialist Pervacio is strengthening its marketing team with the appointment of Andy Norris as Global Marketing Manager.
Based at the company’s new UK office and technology hub, Andy will work alongside Pervacio’s Global Marketing Director Jason Saunt, taking a lead role in delivering the company’s strategic marketing plan.
Commenting on the appointment, Jason said: “Managing a rapidly growing global brand, increasing awareness of our cutting edge technology and assisting an expanding network of sales and customer support staff in the delivery of world class solutions is a huge challenge.
“It’s vital that our customers understand the benefits and value that our products offer, no matter what their location or nationality so, as we set about strengthening the team to support our business growth globally, I’m delighted to have a marketing professional of Andy’s calibre on board.”
Experienced in multiple marketing disciplines and across domestic and international markets, Andy has a BA Hons degree in Business Management with Marketing from the University of Derby. As well as taking a lead role in brand building, he will be involved in digital marketing, SEO optimization, search engine marketing, PR and events to support Pervacio’s continued organic growth worldwide.
Andy has recently relocated back to the UK from Australia, having spent the past four years working with some of the largest brands in the southern hemisphere. In his role as Senior Marketing Manager at the Wesfarmers conglomerate, one of Australia’s largest listed companies, he led the direct marketing team for the Workwear Group. Supporting a multi-brand portfolio, Andy developed strategies to increase brand awareness, stakeholder engagement and drive revenue growth across domestic and international markets.
Andy said: “Pervacio is at the forefront of technical development in mobile diagnostics and data control; in fact we’re advancing our product suite daily, so the challenge for communications is to keep pace with the speed of innovation.
“2018 is shaping up to be an exciting year, especially in the area of supply chain automation and robotics solutions, but we must be mindful of the fact that we are interacting with time-poor senior executives and ensure that our marketing is succinct, engaging and adds value.”
Andy works out of Pervacio’s new technology hub in the UK, where the majority of Pervacio’s global marketing team is based. With a requirement to sustain its ongoing technical recruitment program and support development hubs around the world, Pervacio is also looking to appoint a head of product marketing and a software developer/coder.
Pervacio specialises in containing the cost of mobile device supply chain management, delivering its patented software solutions to customers across the retail, enterprise (government and security) and warehouse sectors. The business has doubled in size year on year since 2012, mirroring the growth in the mobile technology supply chain, and currently supports customers in more than 35 countries across six continents.
